We have the power to heal ourselves
“It is no measure of health to be well-adjusted to a profoundly sick society.”
About me, Allie
I’m a somatic coach, counsellor, and an HSP who made the shift from startups to mental health. I’ve been a writer since I was 8, trying to explain more than can be seen, more than can be said. After studying psychology and literature I worked in London before moving to Prague in 2014. I love forest walks, yoga, meaningful conversation, and mornings.

Our education system ignores so many important things. We grow up not knowing how to relate, process emotions, or live in a peaceful connection to Self. And yet, if we remain disconnected from our emotions long enough, we can experience anxiety, depression, and illness.
In 2018, I went through a mysterious illness and a spiritual awakening that I call my Return To Self. I took 9 months off (coincidentally the time needed to grow a new human being) and began again. I left a job, a relationship, old traumas and patterns, and went deep within. I submerged myself in books, podcasts, coaching, therapy, yoga, nutrition, doctor’s appointments; everything I could get my hands on to heal.
I believe that we aren’t living in harmony with the planet, each other, or ourselves. That’s why I teach reconnection. Our bodies and minds are deeply connected. We are connected. To perform at our best and bring joy into the world, we must each begin by healing ourselves and that begins with self-reflection and awareness.
“One thing I’ve learned the hard way: our body knows. We always know.”
Today, I’m aligned with my self and my purpose, and it gives me all the best feels to share my learnings with others. Especially those who’ve found themselves realizing that something has to change. This point can come through burnout, relationship problems, a persistent feeling of emptiness, or even addiction. The antidote is re-reconnecting to ourselves, our purpose, and our joy. Always Return.

We all have histories, traumas, and backgrounds that make us unique. It’s how we reframe our stories that determines our happiness.
